Since I am such a caring and sharing person....I have created a new journal to share my sometimes strange, sometimes touching, sometimes hilarious, but always fun to read stories about little kids. I work at a preschool and have been around little kids more that I want at times...so I have a lot of stories. Check them out! Tell your friends. Get me on LJ spotlight! Nah, that's alright. It's just something fun I decided to undertake.

Here's to let everyone know that I haven't flown the coop, I'm just incredibly busy with the spring drama I am participating in. Tonight is dress rehearsal so everyone cross their fingers.

Ok, its that time. I've decided to post all that I got for Christmas in case anyone cares, but mostly because I feel like it.
This is everything from lots of different people and I can't even remember where some things came from.

-2 picture frames (that now have a pic of Jordan, and of Flan and I at my graduation in them)
-TCM Scene It (extremely fun but I have no one to play with!)
-2 decorative pillows
-CD/Record/Tape Player (my favorite gift)
-stand for the player (which I had to leave at my grandparents because we couldn't fit it in the car...they are going to ship it to me)
-6 pairs of earings
-2 necklaces
-Gene Kelly Box Set
-Barbra Streisand TV specials box set
-some socks
-President Brain Quest
-Life in Hollywood Book (has great pics of Rosalind Russell helping Heda Hopper move into her new house)
-Toy Story 2 snowglobe
-15 bucks for Target
-15 bucks for Tunes with which I bought the following records for about a buck each...
* Barbra Streisand - Lazy Afternoon
* Barbra Streisand - Guilty
* Barbra Striesand - Stoney End
* Barbra Streisand - Till I Loved You
* That's Entertainment Soundtrack
* Kiss Me Kate OBC
* Doctor Doolittle Movie Soundtrack
* Till the Clouds Roll By Soundtrack

I think that is it...well I still have some friends that have stuff to give me. O wait, and the best thing, my grandmother gave me 50 bucks which I used to buy Bernadette Peter tickts...wow that's a lot of crap.

Guess what people! I'm going to go see Bernadette Peters! Yes! I just bought tickets for her February concert in Atlantic City!

And I have another survey...this time from [info]themercurytree

1.Why is Liza Minelli your fave?
Actually, I can't stand Liza, though I do love Judy. Except for Caberet I've never really seen much of her but she just annoys me for some reason.

2.Is there any musical you wish you could have starred in? if so, which one?
Either Gypsy or Sunset Boulevard because the characters of Norma Desmond and Rose are so complex, they seem so interesting to play and they both have great songs

3.If you could pick any one costume from any movie to keep as your own and wear for fun, which one would it be?Ooo, I have to think. Ann Miller's rockabella dress she wears near the end of On the Town, I'm actually looking for a similar one to wear to prom

4.If you could trade places with anyone in the world, past or present, who would it be and why? How about fictional? I would say Fiona in Brigadoon because the scenery in that movie always amazed me even though it was all painted backdrops. I would love to live in a small town like that.

5.If Stevie Nicks opened a Taqueria like on that skit on SNL, what kind of taco would you order from her restaurant? Would you believe I have never seen SNL and have no idea what you're talking about lol

I was interviewed by [info]jungle_red!

1. What drew you to Ann Miller? I love broadway musicals as well as film musicals. Someone had bought me the Broadway's Hidden Treasures series on DVD. Which are clips from the Tony Awards. On one of them was a clip of Ann Miller and Mickey Rooney in Sugar Babies. All I remember thinking was, "Wow, this gal is like in her 50s here but look at those gorgeous legs!" And she danced pretty darn well for her age so I had to go find what she was like in her prime!
2. What was the first musical you ever saw? The first film musical was probably The Sound of Music because my mother had it taped of the tv and for years I watched that verison unaware that there was alot cut out to fit TV schelduling issues so when I bought the DVD I was amazed at all that I had missed. My first stage musical was Me and My Girl at a local highschool
3. Going along with #2...what made you a musical fan? My dad loves music and loves to read. So I was brought up on music and books, musicals just kind of combine and complete that.
4. Who do you like better Sondheim or Weber? Why? Ummm...That's hard. I enjoy Sondheim's lyrics better, I think he fits so much meaning into his songs but a lot of the time I prefer Weber's melodies.
5. Do you have Barbara Streisand's new CD or relatively new CD? and do you like it? No I don't have it. One reason being that I have no money and have so many cds already, the second being that I listend to some songs from it and it just doesn't seem that spectacular. Aww, my Babs is getting old. But then again, most of my idols are dead so that shouldn't be that big of a deal lol.

Here's a book meme! They aren't my top favorites because some, like Gone With the Wind were just too simple to use.

1.Choose ten of your all time favorite books.
2. Take the first sentence of the first chapter and make a list in your journal.
3. Don't reveal the author or the title of the book.
4. Now everyone try and guess.

Where there are lines is where I took out instances of the book's title occuring.

1. Once there were four children whose names were Peter, Susan, Lucy and Edmund

2. A surging, seething, murmuring crowd of beings that are human only in name, for to the eye and ear they seem naught but savage creatures, animated by vile passions and by the lust of vengeance and of hate.

3. ___________ started on the afternoon of March 15, 1986, when a truck ran down a pushcart belonging to a flower peddler.

4.Last night I dreamt I went to Manderly again.

5. It has rained all day.

6.It is a sin to write this.

7.If you want to find Cherry-Tree Lane all you have to do is ask the Policeman at the cross-roads.

8. The lands of Lyonnesse and Ys; on a clear day, so the fisherman said, their old castles could be seen far out under the water.

9. To __________ she is always the woman.

10. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays it was Court Hand and Summulae Logicales, while the rest of the week it was the Oragon, Repetition and Astrology.

I was digging around in the basement and came across a box of records that I trash picked years ago. Looking through it I found a Disneyland record, Frank Sinatra, A record of famous film scores (Septemeber Song is on it!) and the cast recording of Mr. President with Nanette Fabray...interesting...Now I'm trying harder then ever to push the issue that I want a CD/Tape/Record player for Christmas..even though its like 200 bucks. But my cd/tape player is about 7 years old and the tape player doesn't even work. I need a record player, think of the killing I could make at Tunes, the used music store, their records are 50 cents each! Yeah, so for some reason I thought I should make note of this lol.

I'm tired of directing people from one site to another. And since I have friends on both Xanga and LJ I can't just limit myself to one, so I'm simply going to write in one and copy the entry to the other lol.

Today is Sunday.

I watched a cute movie last night! It was called The Court Jester with Danny Kaye, Angela Lansbury, Glynis Johns and Basil Rathbone. I watched for the latter three because I've never seen anything with Danny Kaye in but...I love him! He reminded me of Anthony Andrew's Percy...I don't know something about seemingly helpless men in tights lol.

O and Mom came home but I didn't hear anything about how the catscan went. She just came home and griped about dinner and then went upstairs to bed.

Lauren was in church today! Yeah because Kelly is off visting Drexel. We talked about all this stupid stuff we remember doing when we were younger. I wish Lauren and I had time to spend together, we had such fun, we were CRAZY.

I did all my homework, there wasn't that much of it but we have choir at 4.30. Darn. Right now all is under control though, I sent Jenn and Jordie over to the Hurley's, Mom is at work and Josh and I are wasting our lives away at the computers...ah well.
